Leather on Legolas
After a long period without painting i finally managed to paint some leather on Legolas.
Somehow i`ve forgotten how to paint so i had to paint longer as planned (and somehow i feel the leather is still not finished yet..).
I started quite desaturated but i still recognized that leather needs colors to "live". I added a lot of green, red and yellow glazes to achieve a realistic look.
Somehow i think some "scratches" will be added in the future, so it looks more worn.
The result:

Stay tuned,
Slidr

Legolas Primed
After a lot of work Legolas is primed.
I`ve used several layers of different colors:
1. Panzergrau (Tank Grey) mixed with "Dark Sea Blue", a blueish greenish tone, as a basecoat
2. Green with medium grey
3. Yellow and white
As you can see the picture shows some blue tones in the highlights: my pc screen seems to brighten up the miniature.
Most of the time has not been spent on priming but on fixing the miniature with the wire on the cork and correcting defect spots on the cloak... and as always after priming some more ugly spots show up, but I don´t want to clean it up again...
Next step is painting eyes and flesh...
Greetings,
Slidr

Painted Heroes for the Gaming Table
Time is running fast these days. Between work at my office and all the boring housework there is not much time left for painting...and there seems to be no time left at all for writing a short post.
What has happened since the last update?
3. Furthermore I`ve prepared the following miniatures:
What has happened since the last update?

- Finished some new Descent Heroes which are currently played in a new Descent campaign:

Mage Cwellin with summoned stones |
Steelhorn |
Legolas ( 75mm) and new Descent Lieutenants (already primed, better pics soon) |
Legolas unpacked (soon assembled, cleaned and primed) |
Greetings,
Slidr
